Feeding Hunger As a senior, one of the requirements to graduate from high school is to create a research essay about the topic that you want. The following is my essay that I created about World Hunger. From having all the things she wanted, marrying a rich guy, and having a big house next to the beach Barra de Navidad Jalisco, Mexico. My godmother ended up living under a bridge, searching for food to give to her kids. This all happen after she divorce her husband, and he left her without anything. She didn’t have the support of her family, but she still manages to go forward. Even though she worked for a night shift at a local restaurant she stopped searching for food in trash cans, and she manage to have a place to live. She also manages to not sleep under a bridge, and not freeze to death. All along the only thing that she had in mind was to feed her kids, and not letting them die of starvation. She even stopped eating for days as long as her two kids had food to eat in their stomachs. Her life story peruses me to make an action, and help the needed ones, because not most people will help you out when you need it the most. My topic is important to me because as we know we throw out food, and waste it. We as humans don’t understand that there might be other people out there that might need those nutrients that the food has, and we just throw it away. Also as we know the economist isn’t very good today, but with a little help by donating money we can help at least one person. My main research question that I will be exploring in my paper is how does World Courseworks exe jar of hearts and Poverty affect a society, and an individual? Due to the lack of money, poverty, and food dumping many people from all over the world are going hungry. Therefore we should help them out by donating food, offer jobs, and put laws on corporation for food dumping. The meaning of World Hunger. For example, “Hunger is a term which has three meanings the uneasy or painful sensation caused by want of food; craving appetite. Also the exhausted condition caused by want of food in the body, and a strong desire or craving” (World Hunger 2011). This quote refers to the fact that World Hunger is nothing but the desire to eat because most people don’t have enough food. Also it means that our bodies need nutrients and if the body asks for it then we need to feed it. Another example is “Malnutrition is a general term that indicated a lack of someone or all nutrition elements necessary for a human health” (WH 2011). This demonstrates that as World hunger is occurring some of the things that are happening are the fact that we don’t have food on us so it makes it harder for us to have a healthy body. Malnutrition is also known as the definition that relates to World Hunger because it’s the video aulas parasitologia institute that people don’t have enough food. Therefore, World Hunger has the meaning that it’s the wanting of food, and the nutrients that the food has so we can be a healthy. Poverty and is the principal cause of hunger. For instance, “The causes of poverty include poor people’s lack of resources, an extremely unequal income distribution in the world and within specific countries, conflict, and hunger itself” (Global Issues 2011). This shows that many people don’t have the opportunity to get food because they don’t receive any when people are donating it. It also means that not enough food is being produce so they don’t have food to be distributed. Additionally, Poverty has risen up over the few years creating less food. For example static’s show that “as of 2008, the World Bank has estimated that 1,345 million poor people developing countries who live on $1.25 a day or less” (GI 2011). This demonstrates that world banks have received the data that the poor people who don’t get paid a lot are the ones who need food the most. Also because poverty not all people can receive food. They can’t afford to go get food on World banks because they don’t have food. Therefore, poverty is one of the causes of World hunger because there is not enough money to get food. Food dumping a major issue for World Hunger. In addition, “Malaysians can afford to eat less because they are either over reacting or wasting food, throwing away up to 930 of unconsumed food daily” (Star 2011). This explains the idea of having to see the fact that those who don’t have food are suffering for food. Also that people are not getting the amount of food they need as a daily life because all the food is being wasted, and they can’t get food. According to the World Vision 2011 website, “While Canada tosses out 17.5 million kilograms of food. Images of green bins overflowing with food were stood.” This demonstrates that not only Canada has been found to throwing food, but also it can happen to any other places. Throwing away food or dumping food while others can use it shows that it is irresponsible to know that our own country would waste food and instead throw it away. It also shows that bins are being submerged with food because people don’t want food writer kingsley first name glenn cadrez, while the trash cans are full with other trash it makes it harder for the waste management to throw away more food. Therefore, as a result of throwing away food many of the poor are not getting the food that they need. Food is being thrown away instead of giving it to the poor people. Economics are a major issue for world hunger and poverty. For instance, “essentially control over resources and income is based on military, political and economic power that typically ends up in hands of a minority, who live well, while those at the bottom barely survive, if they do” (Global Issue 2011). This demonstrates that the money being spent for food and resources for the people it is being use for military uses it is use to buy more military weapons when another word for victim to war. Another example is according to the website Wikinews during 2009 the effect of the economics going down led to the creation of more people be unemployed, and many of them were loosing their jobs and it meant that there was not going to be enough money to buy food for their families. In conclusions as the economist were going down many of the people didn’t have money to buy he food that they needed to survive and the money that was left was being use for military issues. Baby born children dying from not having food are also an effect of world hunger. For example “the infant mortality rate is closely linked to inadequate nutrition among pregnant women. The U.S ranks 23 rd among industrial nations in infant mortality. African-American infants die at nearly twice the rate of whites infants” (Bread 2010). This means that because African-Americans are the people with less food to survive, and for not being courseworks exe jar of hearts to find jobs they are at a higher risk of having babies dying because they are not able to feed them. Also white babies are more likely to survive because they have a higher percentage to survive because their families are likely to get jobs faster and sooner. Another example is according to Bread Many infants children die in the mothers whom because of the lack of food that the mother consumes. The food consume is less, making the baby have no type of food within him. This demonstrates that many mothers who give breast-feeding to their children are finding it harder for them to continue feeding them because they don’t have enough milk to breast feed them because they haven’t been able to eat. It also means that because food is not being consumed then the mother can’t give nutrients buy essay online cheap social gaming market in the apac region its baby because she wasn’t able to eat. Therefore, many of the babies are not being able to survive because they aren’t receiving food from its mother whom. When food is not being eaten, it can end up turning into disease. For example “Malaria is transmitted by a mosquito bite, malaria causes 2,000 child deaths a day — most of them in Africa among poor populations who tend to live in malaria-prone areas. A majority of malaria deaths are also attributable to under-nutrition, according to the World Food Program” (World Vision). This demonstrates that when small children are leaving in an area earn money writing articles Ridley College trash is always being thrown away then insects such as mosquitoes are developed because of the garbage and the rotten food. Many of those mosquitoes have a disease and one of the main diseases is the Malaria. When malaria is infected in the body of a person it makes the body get a fever, fatigues, sweat, and vomiting. Another example is “hunger is buy essay online cheap history of minority populations in the child welfare system dangerous for people with consumptive diseases like AIDS and tuberculosis that significantly increase nutrient requirements and cause crippling loss of weight, strength, and energy. Symptomatic HIV patients require 20 to 30 percent more calories than HIV-negative people. People living with HIV need more food, but they usually get less” danny kanters eindhoven university in Health). This means that without food the people with HIV can no longer have energy and their immune system get weaken. The poor are the most likely to have HIV and or AIDS because they don’t have the resources to get cure because they don’t have money and is harder for them to get the food they need. Therefore, diseases such as malaria and HIV are more likely to be common in the world hunger population because of the lack of food that is not being used in the body. Also it makes it harder for the people to get cure because they need money to buy all the medicines that they need. Physical effects on Children are created by world hunger. For example, “Good nutrition is directly linked to proper physical growth and development. Children who are affected by hunger do not have the appropriate intake of necessary vitamins and minerals to ensure reaching developmental milestones. Many experience shortness of stature and may be significantly underweight. Some often succumb to common childhood diseases because the ravages of hunger have left them defenseless to ward off germs and illnesses” (Agnew 2011). This demonstrates that a children needs to be really well-developed in order to be a good and smart student. Food is the main reason that a child in school does well because it contains energy that helps them think. As many scientists have mentioned breakfast is the main source of food. Without breakfast food in the body many of the young children aren’t able to have a healthy brain, and have good grades. Also without the minerals and nutrients of the food it makes it hard for children’s especially babies to have a developed body, meaning that bones are going to be weaker, and not be strong as it suppose to be for a child. Not enough calcium will be given to the bones and can create diseases such as osteoporosis. Another example is according to Time Health a story written by Alicia Park, “While this study did not delve into the specific mechanism by which hunger affects long-term health, Kirkpatrick speculates that both psychological and physiological factors may be at work. Aside from the obvious negative impact that missing key nutrients and calories can have on growth and development, she says, the psychological stress of food insecurity — not being able to afford a consistent and high-quality source of food — can be harmful to youngsters as well.” This means that in a daily life diet a person has to eat about 2,000 calories, which means that most children don’t get the right amount of nutrients and minerals Wuthering Heights by Emily Br need to be consumed in their bodies, and some starve because it harder for them to go and look for food if they don’t have money. As a caused of having no minerals and nutrients in the body many of the children and people have to starve which this can lead to death. Therefore, physical effects are created by world hunger such as weaker bones, and effects on the brain like not being able to think. Solutions for World Hunger are limited to those who want to help. For example a solution according to the U.S Department of State would be “Agriculture—including crops, livestock and aquaculture—is a powerful poverty reduction tool. According to the World Bank, for every one percent growth in agriculture, poverty declines by as much as two percent. And because the majority of those who are hungry live in rural areas and depend on agriculture and natural resources for their livelihoods, investing in agriculture is the most efficient way to target those in need. Investments in the agricultural sector also contribute to overall economic growth by increasing efficiency in the marketing chain, reducing the share of poor people’s income spent on food, and enabling them to purchase other goods and services, like education, health care, and housing. Most of the world’s remaining arable land is in developing countries, and dramatic gains in agricultural productivity are possible. Unleashing the potential of small-scale farmers and agribusinesses to produce and sell food will substantially reduce hunger and create a more resilient global food buy essay online cheap social gaming market in the apac region for everyone”. This solution offers to show an appropriate solution to World Hunger because if more food was grown in the fields then it would mean that more people would have more food to eat. It also shows that it would benefit the economy because if more food was created it meant that the price for the agriculture foods would go buy essay online cheap social gaming market in the apac region and people would actually be able to afford the food. If food was grown in the fields it would be a good idea to make vegetables and fruits cheaper since it would be enough food growing. In contrast I know that having agriculture foods has its risks. Some of the risks would be global warming. If too much rain is produce then the plants would die affecting the economy because no food then there is a decrease in the money. Therefore growing more foods would be a good solution because that way people would be eat healthy and they would be able to actually eat and not starve, even if growing foods has complications it would still be a good idea to help each other out and grow food. Charities are an example of a solution. For example, “Action Against Hunger, ACF International, a global humanitarian organization committed to ending world hunger, works to save the lives of malnourished children while providing communities with access to safe water and sustainable solutions to hunger” (Action Against Hunger Charity). This means that a person can donate any kind of money so that the persons in charge can buy the food and take it to the most needed ones. With all the money collected, food will be bought and given to kids who are malnourished and don’t have nothing to eat. Many of the charities are created by people who are trying to make a difference for the world and to save people’s life. Therefore, charities are great ways to help people who don’t have food. It a great way to donate if you don’t have any other ways to help out. More people should donate and help out the needed ones. The effects on world hunger not having food to eat, hopes for millions of people to survive like you and I. People learned to live life without money to buy food, food dumping near them, and the lack of resources. The economy has a major impact on world hunger. As people losing their jobs and food prices going up, it makes it harder for those who don’t have food to get food. Food dumping by people and companies makes it harder for those people to get food because good food is being thrown away instead of giving it away tho the ones that needs it the most. Poverty is a reason in which world hunger is created. Because of the lack of poverty, it makes it harder for the poor to get food. Many of the poor look for food in the trash cans because they don’t have money to buy the food they need. Food is the main nutrient that a person’s body needs. A person’s body needs a diet of about 2,000 and if those who can’t get any nutrients have a weaker learning academic writing essays Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School. In addition, diseases are created because food is not being consumed in the body like parasites and deadly diseases. Ways that people can help out the needed ones is donate food to a local charity or a food bank. Today, we see many things happening in the world but this shouldn’t be an obstacle to start a change and help out the ones who need it the most. Keep in mind that if we donate food, it will save someone’s life’s and will make a person smile. A smile can brighten up your day when you know you did something nice for someone else. Be the example and a leader and start helping out those who need it by donating anything you have. This can save up two lives. Make a change.
